I purchased one of these back in September[????] to use under the overalls I wear in the fall at work.
I've been wearing it with my normal EDC Tenicor Certum3 and Mastermind's soft mag holder. EDC pistole' is a 9mm 1911 commander.
This belt does exactly what it is claimed to do. The system doesn't move, stays in the same location that I donn it in the morning.
I NEVER wear dress clothes anymore, but had occasion to for a memorial for my departed father in law. The system just about disappeared under the dress clothes, with the shirt tucked in. Not a piece of kit I use daily, but when used, it works perfectly for discreet carry.

The changes in construction have made the Covert Gen2 more flexible and lower profile. Those with waists under 34 inches will likely see the most benefit or improvement from the increased flexibility, larger waists it should perform well but the changes may not have a large impact on overall comfort and performance. The tail section as been changed and the new tail has a partially stiffened cap which will make it a slight bit easier for those that thread pouches onto the belt.
Could this belt be worn OWB as a traditional belt in addition to under your pants? I was going to order one of the Specialist Supreme Belts (not the D-Ring) and noticed you no longer offer it. I was wondering if this could work in its place and also be used as designed at other times?

I wear a Specialist Covert a lot and while it can be used as a traditional belt in a pinch, if your intention is to wear it like that often I would suggest looking at other options. My PF Specialist is great as a normal belt and can easily fill the same role as the Specialist Covert with very little trade offs.

The Covert is not designed to be used as a traditional belt as its materials and construction are tailored to it being worn under the waistband. It certainly could be used as a traditional belt however we do not recommend using the Covert as you describe.
