It does the job if you require a carry method of this nature. It follows the KISS principal; we have had a lot of people report that they have been doing this over the years with the regular Specialist and we decided to make a dedicated belt to achieve this. No contraptions, belly bands, corsets, or the like, a simple solution that is easy to put on, take off, uses one's standard carry gear, can be used in gym clothes/sweatpants, or as a traditional carry belt.

Mine arrived yesterday and I've been wearing it around the house today. So far I really like it - no longer have to weigh down the work from home sweatpants with a pocket gun.

Although the Specialist Covert was not necessarily designed to be used with gym attire or sweats we have had a lot of end user reports of the Covert being used for carry in gym clothes, lounge type pants, and sweats to good effect.

I received my Specialist Covert earlier this week and have worn it with either a G26 or 43x under running shorts a few mornings at the gym and on several trail runs. I've used my Specialist, along with various web belts, before for the same purpose and the Covert is definitely an improvement.

I like the set up of minimalist belt plus regular holster much more than the modified Smart Carry I have and the sticky material is really nice for helping to keep undershirts in place.
