    MR920 and striker control device

I have been enjoying my Shadow Systems MR920 more these days.

I compete with CZs, but can shoot Glocks decently. But there is a slight pointing difference at absolute speed.

So I put the low backstrap on and now it points like a CZ.

To me, that’s part of the advantage of the Shadow Systems.

I can use it like a Glock without adjustment.

Pretty much all my Gen 3/4 Glock parts fit.

Except the striker control device. The back plate lip is thinner on the MR920. Otherwise dimensionally it’s the same.

But a few minutes with a Dremel grinding wheel and a steady hand.

    Awesome!

How does the trigger travel length compare to a stock glock?

I think pretty much the same. It comes with a flat trigger from the factory, but any basic replacement trigger for a Glock would work and I'd prefer something with less pre and overtravel like some of the aftermarket solutions.

Internally, it's pretty much Glock firing stuff. The main functional improvement is in the frame, IMHO.

The DR920 full-size should be officially released on the 18th or 19th. Shadow Systems had plans to release it during SHOT and have decided to keep that timeline.

    Striker Control Device?

Sorry for reviving this old thread, but you're the only person that I could find that installed a striker control device on their MR920. Which generation striker control device did you use? Did you shave material off the forward or rear-facing part of the device? Thanks!

Hey sorry. Unless you @JCN tag me I have no idea it bumps up.

Gen 1-4 since the MR920 is kind of a Gen 3 internal.

Shaved towards the rear because I wanted to keep the mating surface flat and untouched.

Awesome thanks! That sounds pretty tricky but I'll give it a shot.
