West German Walther PP .22 LR.

11 rounds of 40 grain ammo (10 round magazine).

    1# 8.1 OZ

Kind of a unique little gun. Walther PPs in .22 were issued to troops in Britain in the 70s. This is not one, but I found it interesting anyways. Here is an excerpt from Wiki about the PP in .22 LR

"In 1974, the British Royal Army Ordnance Corps purchased about 3,000 .22lr caliber Walther PP pistols to issue as Personal Defense Weapons to service members of the Ulster Defense Regiment. They were issued as sidearms to off duty soldiers. They had military markings unlike standard Walther PPs. They had black plastic grips, were parkerized and then coated with a type of lacquer called Suncorite which was later found to be extremely toxic and is no longer in use."

Hard to believe that it is almost a century old design now, being introduced in 1929.

Great thread, the one photo with the 45 with 9rds and the 9mm with 43rds being the same weight was startling.

Is there a preferred brand or source for one of those scales?

    4.5oz difference between a Glock 42 and 43. Wow Didn’t realize that.

If I could find any .380 ammo I’d probably buy a new gun and get even lazier!
