If I could find any .380 ammo I’d probably buy a new gun and get even lazier!
It is a very easy gun to carry, and to shoot.

    Well I bought one today.

Mine is difficult to shoot because I’ve never owned a 380 and I don’t think there’s any ammo for it anywhere

Any way you can weigh some of your 3rd Gen S&Ws? Especially the .45s!

    Thanks

Thank you so much @Lost River!

In fact, I wanted to ask you for the weight of the 4563, but I felt inappropriate asking for too much.

The 4563 does seem like a cool gun.

Wanted to bump this thread to ask if anyone could do unloaded and loaded weights for Px4 Compact?

Would be interested to see stock vs LTT RDO

How many shells equal a pound for each caliber

Something I've had in my notes for years, number of rounds per pound based on caliber.

Some of my sources that I have working links for.

    https://www.survivalistboards.com/th...-chart.159381/

    https://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/...d.php?t=921847

    https://survivalfreedom.com/ammo-wei...weigh-by-type/

Also from my notes, something that really surprised me is older loaded 30 round AK mags were around 2 lbs, loaded M1 Garand 8 round Clip around 0.51 lbs so for weight of ammo ready to go pretty much a wash.

Newer 30 round AK mags can be closer to 1.5lbs or so I believe so it be something like ~24 rounds for Garand vs 30 rounds for AK

Numbers I have for M1a (M14) loaded 20 round mag is 1.625 lbs (26oz) for loaded 20 round mag and 4 loaded 5 round strippers for 20 rounds at 1.3 lbs (20.8 oz).

    Both 9x19 & 5.56 are about 37 rounds/lbs

While 357 mag, 40 S&W, 7.62x39, & 6.8 SPC all ~28 rounds/lbs I think the 300 Blackout would be about same but don't have any numbers for it.

    While 30-30, 45 ACP, 44 mag, 7.62NATO, etc all around 19-22 rounds/lbs.

12 gauge around 10 rounds/lbs depending on load little above or below that number.
