    New Production Class 509?

Assuming 5”, lightened slide, better texture, and better trigger. I hope for more but doubt it.

Yep. Most of all I’m happy to see FN seem to care a little more about the civilian market. US made Scars, the 503 (meh), and the continued variations of the 509 series is encouraging.

I don't think I'll ever care about plastic FN pistols. Not for a minute.

I wish they were a contender, but my feelings at the end of the day are pretty much the same as yours.

In other news, my new Taurus 856 has yet to malfunction. It has also yet to be fired.

I said the same thing about the M&P plastic pistols, and now I have been shooting 2.0 ones since late summer. I keep an open mind as today’s dog can be tomorrow’s hotness, and vice versa.

Even if they are great guns I don’t have the desire or resources to switch platforms anytime soon.
