    Gemtech Rimfire QDA

As someone with only one .22 can but several hosts, the idea of being able to QD the can between them is appealing. Looks like Gemtech started making something to do just that. Has anyone used one? And is Gemtech even still making them? They're on the website but it looks like they've been out of stock everywhere for some time.

So, I finally sourced one of these along with a handful of barrel adapters. Couldn't find one online, but one SOT here in town had ONE left in stock, and held it for me until I ran down there after work and scored it.

Thus far, it's been an absolute goldmine of fun. Instead of having to laboriously unscrew the thread protector, line up the threads just right between the can and barrel, and screw it back on, then periodically check to make sure it stays threaded on, I just pop the can on and give it a quick twist, and it's ready to rock. I've been bouncing the can back and forth between several pistols and rifle at the range and it's just.... so much less of a hassle. Two thumbs up thus far.
