Merry New Calendar Christmas! Christ Is Born! Glorify Him!
My family enjoys the American tradition of Christmas tonight and tomorrow. Religiously my church still observes the old Julian calendar which is in 2 weeks, so in essence I get two Christmas’s.
We've got nobody visiting this year. And we are not
holding our annual Christmas Eve party. Used to
serve 40, or more, people starting with brunch and
going through supper. My late mom and dad started
the shindig and my wife and I have carried it on--till
this year.
With just the two of us here, things are quiet.
It is also cold, with quite a bit of wind and snow flying.
I can still wish a Merry Christmas to a whole lot of
people here. And do so now, adding wishes for a
Happy New Year.
