    One S&W Revolver

If I had to only have one revolver, probably any on this list would do:

    • Model 19/66, 4"
    • Model 65, 3"
    • Model 10/64, 3" or 4"
    • Model 686, 4"
    • Model 15, 4"
    • Model 696 (or 69)
    • Model 60, 3"

I've grouped some that are nearly identical, other than blued or stainless. If they were all on the table and I had to pick one, it might be a matter of choosing which one had a round butt.
If we have to march off into the next world, let us walk there on the bodies of our enemies.

#2 and #3 on your list would work for me as long as they were RB.

I only have three S&W revolvers and all three are on your list. I prefer a SB for the K frames though. I really like the 60-4 I have.

Oof! That would be a hard call. I like any on your list but just one would bias me towards concealment. So either a K or J snub. Let's say a Model 12-1, 2", round butt and treat it gently, if it were the only one, because of the aluminum frame. Ask me another time though and my answer might change. Thankfully we don't have to choose just one!

This thread needs pictures. Here are some of my examples of some of the revolvers on the list above.

For the purposes of this thought experiment, is this “one revolver” or just “one Smith?”
Well, you may be a man. You may be a leprechaun. Only one thing’s for sure… you’re in the wrong basement.

Model 19/66 4" is a gun everyone should own. Period, dot, end of statement. That is all.

And, the 66-1 version is the gun in the chest rig hanging on my hiking gear rack.

    I also have the 3” 65 RB.

    And the 36-1 3” RB

    And the 36-6 3” RB

I sold the 4” RB NY-1 to another member here.
