    As long as this thread has devolved from the original topic into DA vs striker fired, I'll join in.

    Here's a link to Langdon's take on it. Link is to 1:06 in where this topic begins. I know he works for Beretta, but he makes some good points.

    My reasons to switch to DA/SA aligns a lot with the points Langdon was making. Fear of accidentally or negligently hurting myself or someone else from having an adrenaline dump is one of my biggest reasons to switch to DA/SA. For this reason I have stuck to the PX4CC for as long as i have even though I wish for a more compact/slimmer gun which there are plenty striker varieties. Currently i haven’t found good alternatives. I’ve tried the XD-e and I didn’t really like it.
