I absolutely agree. A 2-3" k-frame (or equivalent barrel Speed Six, or 3" j-frame), particularly with a bobbed hammer, is hard to beat for informal, lower threat appendix carry. I MUCH prefer this carry when kids, or energetic large dogs, are around that want to play a lot. Much easier to control the gun, much more comfortable rolling around, much less chance of accidentally flashing than if something is back behind my hip. I have carried 4" revolvers like this also, but have gotten pinched a few times by the muzzle when sitting down so I generally only carry the 4" AIWB if I 'need' to (heavier outdoors loads).
