'The Great Reset' and the Coming New Feudalism

First, to steal a headline from the National Review, The Great Reset: If Only It Were Just a Conspiracy

Writing for The Spectator US, Ben Sixsmith gets to grips with “the Great Reset” now being proposed by the World Economic Forum (“Davos”).
And yes, despite a name that sounds as if it were conjured up in some of conspiracism’s danker fever swamps, the Great Reset really exists:
“The World Economic Forum, which organizes the annual conference Davos, has launched an initiative called, yes, ‘the Great Reset’. It has its own website.”
Indeed it does.
But, after noting the involvement of “partners” such as Apple, Microsoft, Facebook, IBM, IKEA, Lockheed Martin, Ericsson and Deloitte, Sixsmith doubts whether the Great Reset can be seen, as some like to suggest (even allowing for a bit of hype) as “socialist Left Marxist” or a “global communist takeover plan.”

My take on the rise of our new Multinational Technocratic Fascism is that the endstate is not Communism, but a return to a Feudal structure of the three Estates. The new First Estate would be the new Clerisy of Scientist, Academics, Whiz Kids, and Activist. The Second Estate will consist of Politicians and Industry Leaders- a group that mixes and mingles pretty much interchangeably at this point. And down in the mud of the Third Estate, you have the various Lumpen groups subject to the demands and orders of their betters in the other estates.

On a more immediate and pressing problem, Joe Biden who has shown us the way by choosing a running mate simply on race and gender, is now being called out for not having enough African-Americans in his proposed cabinet.

What I want to know is what is the proper ratio for a successful recipe? If 13% isn't fair or representative, how does one know when has enough?

This by the numbers stuff, and the dystopia that Joe is reporting upon don't bode well for our upcoming globalized adventures.

It all depends if they eventually fall into line with the party's will or not. Flagellants and others calling for greater purity were tolerated by the Curia to a point. Then, they either got back into line with the establishment, or were shut down hard. They can preach, but should be wary of meddling.

So, basically this guy from the National Review did a review on another guy's review of The Great Reset, and turned it into some limp-noodle conspiracy stream of consciousness that's hard to follow....and I'm supposed to be wow'd by what exactly?

"Davos" is not a secretive codeword for some organization or person like this garbage excuse of an article is using it. It's a small town in Switzerland where the WEF is hosted every year. The WEF is attended by representatives from both the private and public sectors, and nothing new. It's been going on for something around 50 years. At work we joke about it being the meeting of the illuminati and all.....but.....

By "Leyen" I mean Ursula von der Leyen, current president of the EU commission. If you don't know her, you have missed nothing - at least nothing good. She's babbling about a "Great Reset", too, she seems to like it, wants to sell it as if it's something good. This alone tells me, I better try to avoid it.

I don’t think a lot of people understand the fight. Maybe they do in the micro, but not the macro.


There is no secret lizard people conspiracy, simply crappy human nature doing what crappy human nature does. The west, especially the Anglo countries, and even more so the USA, has been a bulwark against totalitarianism. However our western/Anglo/American societies are made of people and we can become crappy like other places if we choose to do so.


I used to make fun of “conspiracy theorist”. While I still don’t find much of what they have to say compelling, I do admit I was wrong to laugh at them. They had a better understanding of how deep the threat is than most people.

People with power usually want more power.
People with power will often use a crisis to take whatever power they can get. That NGO's, academics, corporate leaders, and various government officials are talking about using Covid as a means to give themselves more power and more control in order to remake the world into a better place (especially for themselves) shouldn't be seen as some kind of QAnon fever dream- it's a logical step.

The idea that a small minority of select, enlightened people are better able to make decisions than the general mass of lumpenproletariat is not new, nor one relegated to the fringes. It's openly stated on Twitter by various Blue Check intelligentsia, by the editors of major news organs, and by major political figures and influencers.
