I recently tried a few of the newer phlster enhancement/upgrade/optional parts - the updated leg leash and the slim buckle. While i've been happy with my levo designs bumster, I wanted to see if the changes to the leg leash fixed my issues with it slipping down and also coming apart. Same issue with the leash slipping despite tightness being tight enough for discomfort and worrying about circulation. I'm guessing leg shape is the culprit here. The buckle on the new leg leash does solve the coming apart issue, it would seem. No problem though, back to the bumster.

The slim buckle on the other hand will take more time to form a strong opinion on. I namely have an issue running an awib mag pouch and having a large bulge where the fidlock is (once a mag pouch is somewhat under it). It tends to ride above the belt line and is a simple annoyance. The slim buckle does make for a flatter profile, but at the expense of more troublesome effort threading the belt. The enigma is already more work to wear than a belt holster and this makes it worse. I'm going to wear it with several outfits for a month or so and see if the juice is worth the squeeze. Location is fine with the fidlock but bulk is a problem. I get more real estate with the slim buckle with less bulk but it's more trouble to put on.

Have you considered swapping the belt around so the buckle is on the other side? This will move it to opposite of your reload.

Swell idea! and one I'll have to give a shot. Not sure why I haven't at this point, it's a seemingly obvious answer. Thanks!

I use the slim buckle mounted to the grip side of the pistol and with a larger gun I think it makes threading the buckle easier because it gives you better control over the gun while you’re putting the belt on. I also use the index finger on my support hand to hold the buckle slide in place while I’m getting everything ready to put on, that makes getting everything lined up a lot simpler.

We recently got my wife an Enigma and the Levo Papoose for her SIG 365 and it is an absolute game changer. My wife is an Instructor and we owned our own training business. Being a cops wife she understands the importance of carrying for self defense and the pros and cons of on body vs off body. No matter what we tried JMCK AIWB Holsters/Graith Specialists Belt, Milt Sparks SS2 etc. Nothing worked for her for concealment and comfort in typical Florida wardrobe. I finally showed her the Enigma and she agreed to give it a try. She began wearing it around the house to try the concept out and actually wore it for 7 hrs or so. We added the Levo Papoose for added comfort, as she didn't want a full additional layer of clothing in Florida heat. She's been wearing the combination consistently and it's working very well for her. So far we are very impressed with the concept and it's execution.

I’ll post some pictures later of the best method I’ve found to do that. That dang slider frustrated me for a while.

Anybody know if the Enigma will work with the Tenicor Certum or Velo holsters assuming one uses the fixed retention kit hardware? Torn between getting one of those or using the Phlster fixed retention holster, the Skeleton. I really don't like that it is black though, when I can have the Tenicors in the sexy Shivworks gray instead. Now I can order a gray belt from Phlster for the Enigma, trying to stay away from black and I have a tan NRA edition 365 that I intend to carry with the Enigma.
