No down side, that may come later with the chrono. Load shot to point of aim out of my 3" Kimber K6 357. Load felt uniform in recoil and shot to POA at 15 yds. Very accurate under two inches at 10 yds offhand DA, six rounds. Ejection was easy and the cases were clean with no smokiness, but the primers were flattened to a small degree but no puddling or cratering of the primers.
This looks like it may be my GP load. I need to chrono it and see where it's at. I'm thinking near the 1K velocity level. Very happy with it. I would only shoot it occasionally in a K frame/D frame 38.
This load will run in a Kimber for a long time. THE USUAL CAVEAT APPLIES: THE LOAD WORKS IN MINE, NOT NECESSARILY IN YOURS. USE CAUTION AND WORK UP YOUR OWN LOAD IN YOUR REVOLVER!
