    Smacky(Saps/Jacks)-Punchy(Knuckles)-Hitty(Clubs) Things

I like smacky, punchy, hitty things.

From left to right - Shivworks Top Popper, No Name (Etsy-sourced) coin sap loaded with around 8-bucks in change; Boston Leather 2-ply Midget Sap; Scott Foster made cable jack; Todd Foster made midget sap; Scott Foster made spring jack.

What I really need to add to this collection is a baton of some type, maybe a jack-sap or edge-optimized flat sap, and probably a full set of knuckles (or two).

Okay, what is the story with the tape wrap?
Just restricting the strap so it doesn’t snag but still works as pull tab?

Hypothetically, I might really like the Midget saps. They work great for convening meetings as a gavel or sorts...

A midget is what I carry when I carry a sap.

(No offense to little people...I'd never refer to them as saps and I'm too tired to carry them.)

Yes. Just how I like mine setup is enough loop to get a finger, maybe two in to draw the tool out. So I tape the extra strap down to make it lay flatter and keep the loop exactly where I want it. Also gives some extra traction when swinging.

Foster Midget. Kills fish dead. I never take the boat out without it, and I take the boat out so often I often just forget that it's in my pocket. Besides which, there's lots of shore fishing here, and casting is probably the thing I'm best at, fishing-wise, so even to and from work, on the rare occasions I actually go into the office, it ends up riding around in my pocket a lot of the time.

The town I live in is basically Mayberry-by-the-Sea, so not much need for fighting gear. But as a fish bonker, the Midget is incredible. Switches off big ling cod like it's cutting puppet strings.

No idea what it would do to a person; never thought about it here in the Socialist Republic of Canada.
This is a thread where I built a boat I designed and which I very occasionally update with accounts of using it, which is really fun as long as I'm not driving over logs and blowing up the outboard.

Well, without knowing the situation, I would say don't give up hope, my mom got stuck waiting until I was 42, so she's 72 and my dad is almost 80, and that's the first grandkid.

Begs the question...will the opponent have "seen the light" or not. (I suppose if he sees stars, we have our answer.)
