Glock Grip Plug with M Beavertail?

Hi, I have a new G34 Gen 5. I would like to install the M Beavertail. But I would also like to use a Grip Plug so that the magwell circumference is filled in, to lessen the risk of me screwing up a reload in USPSA.

I have a GlockStore brass “Thug Plug” but if I install it, I can’t put on the M Beavertail.

Do you know of a Glock Grip Plug that allows you to install the M Beavertail at the same time?

There are so many options out there, I’m not sure which one will work.

    Thanks!

This one works with a backstrap. Someone in the comments said it worked fine on their Gen 5 G17.

If for some reason it doesn't work, free return.

Thanks! I ordered one. Much obliged.

In the desert, looking for water.
Wondered how long you were going to last before you got one. Congratulations!

I use the one from Pearce. It’ll allow you to mount the M or L backstraps. It’s not weighted like the Thug Plug though, if that matters.

I used one of these for a short time with a Gen4 G19, and the plug didn't really completely fill the half moon shaped cut in the inside of the magwell, resulting in magazine lip hangups at speed. The Glockmeister plug is a much more rounded shape that completely fills in and smooths out the cutout... but it isn't compatible with the backstraps.

Many thanks again. One of the things I like about this forum is that there is almost no question that can be asked, for which a helpful forum member doesn't have an answer to.

I received the Pearce PG-G4MF Grip Frame Insert today. Fit into my G5 G34 is perfect. I easily slipped the M backstrap over the grip insert. The insert has notches which align perfectly with the backstrap.

The magwell is now filled, all the way around. I may end up breaking the line of the rear with a Dremel, but I may just leave it alone and get to practising reloads. For now I'm good to go, though.
