    Is that a live round or empty brass?

    If empty brass it's not a "phase III" because it's not jammed into the hood of the barrel. The NYPD issue was a big deal since you could not just Tap-Roll/Rack-Bang to clear that one, you typically needed a tool to get the brass unwedged off of the barrel hood.

    The phase III has indeed happened with other than Glock 19s, I know of a numer of G22s that have had that issue.

    Anyway;

    How many rounds through this gun?

    Your is about the same time frame as a couple of my G17s. One of those guns had like 12K rounds through it without a stoppage when I got an in-line "stovepipe". I switched out the RSA, the firing pin spring and the spring that runs the extractor assemby. My issues was worn recoil spring allowing higher slide velocity and a weal spring running the extractor, this allowed extractor bounce to occurr and the brass to be basically in free flight in the ejection port area, instead of being held long enough to get smacked out of the gun by the ejector.

    Empty brass. About 1,000 rounds thru this since new.

    My Glock contact, who incidentally shot 113 with his G17 today at Rogers after the regular class ended, suspects the extractor. I am going to start with a pre-LCI extractor. I have also numbered the magazines, which are new in service this year.
