    Congrats. Turned in the badge myself four years ago. The first few months seemed weird. The uniforms and gear still hanging in the closet. After awhile, grabbed the scissors and cut off the patches. Re-purposed the BDU’s to lawn/paint clothes. Took my background in drivers training and re-invented myself as a driver instructor for AARP programs. Enjoy your time now.

    Congrats. Three years ago today was my first day of retirement. Still trying to figure out what to do, but it's nice knowing you dont have to do anything if you don't want to.
