    Congratulations to you on a memorable, dedicated and commendable career!
    I was in your shoes 15 months ago (already???) and I know how you feel. I left after just shy of 37 years of service, and although I too loved my job, I never looked back. Chores, hobbies, FAMILY and a P/T gig working the counter and doing firearms instruction at a LGS have made my retirement fly by.
    Find something you love and appreciate and get to it. Good luck on this new chapter brother, and thank you for your service.
