    Savage Model 1907

Picked this up about a week ago at a local gun shop. It had been languishing in the display case since last Christmas. the price tag was $400, I offered $350 and the shop agreed to sale at that price. I like the little Savage and I now own two of them. The first one I acquired at auction last year along with a Smith & Wesson Safety Hammerless in 32. Both of the pistols were manufactured in 1910 (according to the serial numbers) and are in good shape. Don't really know why the model has caught my eye, but it has.

I inherited one of these from my Grandpa. Nice little pistol.

I have a Savage 1907 made in 1913 and a 1915 made in 1915. They are really cool pistols.

The Model 1915 is a rare one. I have come across a Model 1917 in the past, but couldn't afford it at the time.

I’d like to get a 1917 so I could have one of each of the major design changes. The 1915 is a little rough to be considered a collector’s piece but it is functional and quite fun to shoot.

Currently by the ocean in CA and on the move to a more free state. Three more years!
Here is a good book to go with your pistol:

It is a very informative read.

My apologies. I was logged in and didn’t pay attention to the link when I pulled up the post.

Here’s the same thing with mediocre pictures.
