I would have thought that grizzly would have kicked ass on those wolves.
With liberty and justice for all...must be 18, void where prohibited, some restrictions may apply, not available in all states.

He was trying to be respectful of diversity and not exert his bear privilege.
There's nothing civil about this war.

What about his right to bear arms? Seems like a grizzly way to defend oneself, but I'm sure he could bear it.

He didn't claw his way to the top of the food chain by being toothless.

    Ain't nothin' but a fang.

In the desert, looking for water.
He could have easily killed any one of them, maybe two, but if he committed to an attack, the others would have hurt him from the sides and behind. Enough ants can kill a pretty large critter if it lets them close. Enough wolves could get a bear, even one that big.

That seemed like a lot of wolves to me.

I clearly counted at least 9 at one point

As we used to say on OPFOR - “quantity has a certain quality” and coordinated attacks are hard to deal with no matter how tough you are.

Wolves have more sense than to line up one by one like students in a movie karate school. A bear in full berserker mode could do a lot of damage. Looked like this time there was more posturing than serious intent.

Also a good reminder of how easily bears can cover ground.

Wolves love to eat bears. I think it's the huge quantity of fat. Several of my friends that hunt bears leave the carcasses out for a couple days and end up shooting wolves as well.
