Thread: Tier 1, 1.5, or even Tier 2 tools thread

I have a bunch of crepe myrtles that I had to cut back to the ground early this year, so starting over with them. They are nigh impossible to kill and have come back nicely but need a lot of attention to reshape. I also have another tree of some type that blew down in my backyard that I had to deal with and the easiest way to do that is just cut it up and put it in the trash cart. It is way too hard to deal with hand pruners and too small for saws, except for the main branches. So I went and picked this up since I'm in the M12 system already. This thing is freaking awesome! If you have a need get one on sale, you won't be disappointed. I think this may be my favorite M12 tool yet.

Local store, Hutchinson KS, had about 1/3 of their Klein stuff clearance priced. Bought a set of slim insulated screwdrivers at about 1/2 price.
Adding nothing to the conversation since 2015....

That is pretty cool. Might make a good addition to the bushcrafting/camping and car kit. Throw a long aggressive blade in there for sawing up limbs.
All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.
No one is coming. It is up to us.

In a funny twist, the wife asked me if we could get a portable vacuum that was better than a dust buster but not as bulky as the shop vac that she could use for the car and vacuuming out sliding door tracks etc. I hadn't even taken it out of the box yet. Went out to the shop, brought it in, opened it up, and now it's her vacuum.

Had to bring an M18 charger and two of my beefy M18 batteries in from the shop to the garage too (garage was previously M12 only).

now I'm back to not having a cordless vacuum in the shop...

If Milwaukee would just make their big roll-around vacuums be able to take a cord when needed this would be all over. Their M18 fan can be plugged in (albeit with a stupid wall wart and round jack) and the M18 work light I have can be plugged in with just an extension cord. If the shop vac had the latter, I'd be a buyer x2!

My M18 Surge impact driver got deluged in rain and doesn't work now (I thought our popup out back was waterproof, I was wrong) so I just picked up another one. Yes, it's that good and I've been without one for almost two days, can't let that go on

Is repairing these tools a cost effective option?
