Trump (and the world) just keep winning.

Sudan - Israel normalization deal has been agreed.

BHO got the Peace Prize for just TALKING and expressing HOPE. For accomplishing NOTHING. ZERO. ZILCH. NADA. BUPKUS.

I'm sure DJT will be snubbed, but, without a doubt he deserves it.

Obama got the award as the committee given the finger to GWB, not for what he did. Obama even acknowledged that at the time, in a subtle manner.

The Middle East progress is a real accomplishment. Jared surprised folks who thought he couldn't do it, if he did. The fear of Iran seems the driving force along with economics.

I cannot understand the Democrat's continued romanticism with Socialism given the fact that Socialism has never resulted in the success of anyone except for those who avail themselves of its ability to deny those whom it purports to serve of their freedom and prosperity.

NFL team owners seem to be ok with revenue sharing... ;-)

I get what you are saying but it's not about romance. It's about more power and control for some while others don't realize what it means for their lives. The universities preach that it will be utopia for all but like you said, it doesn't really work out.

Many policies/programs in the US have a strong taste of socialism and are failing. We keep hearing that we need to throw more money at these failing programs to make it all better

For the sake of clarity, I was using the term ''romanticism'' which is defined as characterizing something from an idealistic perspective, not as the descriptor of an emotion. Just the same, the calls for ''More money!'' for these programs are troubling because it is clear that those who do so have no idea where that money actually comes from. My favorite political cartoon—posted for your edification and entertainment—explains it all perfectly...

Major league sports certainly enjoys governments giving them money and tax breaks. They seem to take it on the knee for such.

I love it when the local government decided to give 500 million tax payer money to billionaires to build a stadium for the Raiders. There is plenty of private money out there.
