    Favorite Halloween/Scary Movies

    My favorite time of year.

Deer season is up and running, Oktoberfest's, Fall/Harvest festivals, and the holidays which includes Halloween for me. Something about colored decorations and jack-o-lanterns. Got it from my Dad.

Now if only we didn't have covid or an election to ruin things.

Anyway, saw this topic on another forum and thought I'd see how it would go on this one.

    What's your favorite Halloween/scary movie??????

    For me:

    1. The classics. Original Dracula, Wolfman, Frankenstein, etc. Lugosi, Karloff at their best. Also include The Haunting.
    2. Evil Dead (original)
    3. The very first in the Halloween, Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm St's. Every sequel pretty much sucks.
    4. Modern: The Ring, the Conjuring pt 1 and 2, Annabelle creation, and Ouija Origins.
    5. Haunting of Hill House Netflix series.

Come, mother, come! For terror is thy name, death is in thy breath, and every shaking step destroys a world for e'er. Thou 'time', the all-destroyer! Come, O mother, come!

The Exorcist and Alien have always headlined my list, but more recently The Witch scared the daylights out of me.

The original Amityville Horroe and Poltergeist movies held up fairly well the last time I watched them.

Gremlins and Ghostbusters are fun if you want some comedy with your monsters.

"The Thing" and "Alien" are a personal tradition.
