    POTUS-elect Hypothetical

During all of the 2020 election craziness, a lot of scenarios have been proposed. But a new one was sprung on me. Here goes. On 06-JAN-2021, Congress certifies the election results. On 20-JAN-2021, the new POTUS takes office. So what happens if POTUS-elect is incapacitated or passes away after 06-JAN, but before 20-JAN? Does VPOTUS-elect become POTUS on 20-JAN? And then nominates a new VP that Congress must confirm?

The 20th Ammendment provides for this. The VP elect becomes President, he then selects a new VP that is ratified by Congress. Much the way Nixon and the Republicans selected Ford after Agnew resigned.

The point is, why is this question being asked before this particular election. Also why is Pelosi researching the 25th Ammendment and can Congress remove a President from office?

Even Joe Biden himself has opined that he might not make it through a full term, the Democrat party seems to agree.

Remarkable that this point isn't being made more strongly.

Who are people voting for, Biden or Harris........

We might know soon, and then maybe not so soon.

Either way could be a good excuse for "protests", more burning neighborhoods.

    Let the games begin....

I was wondering why Hilary started posting that she was in talks to join the Biden administration in a “yet to be determined role”.

My presumption was that joe already sleeps
With the fishes, when it suits Kamala and her narrative, and that Kamala would pick Her as the benchwarmer.

Which newspaper do you think they'll wrap him in?

(I think the NY Post would add insult to injury.)

Well, if Biden were elected and served just two years, Harris could step up and serve the last two years of his term. Then she could get elected twice and serve for a total of ten years. That is all according to the 22nd Amendment.
