C'mon, Man! Blue cities need more socialism / communism / liberalism for the subjects to reach peak happiness.

Can there be too much of a good thing?
There's nothing civil about this war.

I am surprised a 2X2 penetrated the glass seemingly easily.

I am also surprised the officer didn't just accelerate the car at and over the fellow. No time I expect because it happened fast.

    FWIW

We're getting 30 "early retirement" slots. They aren't really early. They are a bonus for people who are already eligible to go ahead and leave. I suspect they will have no trouble filling the 30.
Sorta around sometimes for some of your shitty mod needs.

Too much water can kill you. Too much oxygen can also kill you. Unknown about too much Cap'n Crunch, because as of yet no one has discovered how much is too much.

My impression was that he rolled down the window - or it was already rolled down - to holler the last 'Seattle Police, stop dude."

I'd bet he had the SUV in park preparatory to getting out to make contact, as he did initially. My experience with testing officers' responses on vehicle stops showed me that a driver of a stopped vehicle can unass the vehicle and close the distance before an officer who is not expecting such a response can get the unit out of park and back away, or drive forward - if the unit is inpark and the officer is not expecting the assault.

Apparently he did get the unit in reverse though, it backs into a dumpster and he rolls out of the vehicle through the passenger door in another view.

Using the vehicle as a weapon is not taught - in terms of practical training - at very many Academies. It may be mentioned in lecture, but that does not have the programing affect of scenario repetitions which involve an emotional response.

So from that perspective, I'm not surprised.

This is because after one bowl of the Cap'n the roof of your mouth is in shreds.

Asheville has had 27 or 30, depends on who you talk to, quit or retire and only 9 in the next academy. There has been times when its been down to a single officer in a district. We have had to tell people that have been involved in a MVA that their best option is to exchange info and let their insurance work out the details because it has been taking hours to get an officer for a report.
