I broke both my radius and ulna in 5th grade during an after school fight (which I was winning until I heard the two firecrackers going off and felt something funny in my arm).

There's nothing civil about this war.
I wouldn’t go so far as to say he’s complicit. But while his status as a trained observer makes him more likely to notice things others might mess his status as the organizer on one side of a part as an event means he is also Not making an impartial analysis of what he sees.
No boxing in DT class but we did full contact red man / fist suit work towards the end of class after PT testing was complete. It was likely a good scheduling choice I broke my big toe kicking a “red man” in a ground defense evolution and we had a few other injuries in class.
Our main instructor was a former DT instructor and when we had extra time he would play video tapes of this new thing called UFC .....
Nor would I, at least not directly, but given how fraught these sort of events are, it's easy to see where some people might suggest that anyone organizing, from either side of the political divide, might be considered at least partly responsible for the outcomes that occur.
I'm like 6'5" and was in decent shape carrying about 235. Next sized guy was 5'10" maybe 200, Samoan. Red Man day comes along and the 5'10" guy brings his 6'3 300lb brudda to class and the Academy commander had already cleared him to be Red Man. We did 2 evolution's, only rule was, "no strikes." Twisted me up like a frikken pretzel. 2nd go, it came to a draw as they blew the whistle before I could sink a LVNR. It was like trying to wrassle with a full gun safe. UGH! Turned out he was an English teacher and had been the island version of a AAA wrestler. Really nice guy -off the mat.
The shooting is obviously tragic. I think there's info coming out about the shooter's ties to some edgy Left oriented groups in the state. Surprised to find out that some state party members and maybe even some elected folks are part of that same group. Denver has a full fledged self proclaimed Communist on the county commission. She recently turned up during an arrest with a quickly gathering crowd and made disparaging remarks to an officer that was holding the crowd back.

From that link:
“The producer, the murderer, and the aggressor were all huddled in the corner having a nice little conversation.”
When Carlson asked the witness what he meant Tiegan clarified:
“They were huddled just before we started exiting.”
Tiegen also implied that the three seem to been working together or have known each other. The pro-police demonstrator told Carlson:
“Everywhere this agitator went, they went.”
Hmm. Could that 'huddle' have been an 'interview'? Isn't that in a news reporter's job description? I think it's pretty much "conduct interviews and other duties as assigned."
There is a video of the Black Gun Matters (BGM) t-shirt guy trying to start a fight with another black fellow earlier in the day. The guy doesn't take the bait and walks away. BGM t-shirt guy was making a scene(s), so it doesn't surprise me that reporters would follow him around. "Go where the action is," someone once said (probably.) The reporters aren't going to hang out by the quiet retirees all day when you have troublemakers a block over. It doesn't mean they were friends. It certainly didn't mean they were directing Black Gun Matters t-shirt guy what to do.
The same BGM t-shirt guy allegedly was involved in a fight as at Bernie Sanders rally previously, where he went to boo Sander for his anti-2A stance. I'd be willing to guess that he shows up at a lot of protests/events and I wouldn't be surprised if the reporters knew who he was before the event.
These seems so obviously the most likely explanation. Anyone that jumps to the conclusion 'they were all in cahoots to stir up trouble' or worse "This was a planned political assassination organized by the media and Antifa (some add "with support from police and DA)" has proven to me they are too dumb or too biased to listen to.

Thanks for posting that. I watched it
Here's a summary. The criminal defense lawyer goes through the same pictures and videos we have seen. He isolates the audio and shows that spray went off before gun fires, but says shooter almost certainly had already drawn the pistol and was in the ready position when the spray is released. He also goes through the Colorado statutes. In his opinion, shooter shouldn't have used deadly force against non-deadly force in that instance. Lawyer acknowledges that pepper spray can incapacitate and there's the concern that you could have your weapon taken away, but the photos don't show that that was a reasonable concern. Shooter will have a hard time defending himself in a trial. Doesn't think the lack of a security guard license will be a factor.
Were you there?
Tim Tiegen was.
Interesting that you want to disparage his observations, when he was at ground zero , so to speak.
And where were you?
If you don't think Antifa and sympathetic press have a working relationship to capture good photo ops of the heroic antifascist hero warriors fighting those awful right wing white supremacist, then I have some wonderful ocean front property in Arizona I think you would love.
"And for a regular dude I’m maybe okay...but what I learned is if there’s a door, I’m going out it not in it"-Duke
"Just because a girl sleeps with her brother doesn't mean she's easy..."-Blues
So anyone that wasn't there can't speak? Are you going to tell everyone else they shouldn't post because they weren't there? Being physically present in a space doesn't grant clarity, remove biases, or give the ability to reason.
I know I made my point since you didn't try to refute anything I said and your only comeback is "You weren't there!"
