Traction similar and if not which is more aggressive, Doc?

Pretty close. The plastic may have an edge. I had to knock down the plastic with some sandpaper on the tummy side to even carry it.

They are both quite good grips.

I'm happy enough with the plastic ones that i don't believe I'll pursue the g10 anytime soon. Thanks for the info!

That is a very reasonable choice. I ordered the Hogue before I knew about the plastic. If I had not I doubt I would have bothered. I don’t think there is any world where the G10 is worth 2.5X the plastic. Their performance is quite similar.

But I do like the feel of the Hogues a bit better.

    Spare arrived.

The front sight is top dead center. Rear sight dovetail is deeper too.

Soooo...one of these is at the LGS and I'm horrifically tempted because the DA trigger without the SA sear is...kinda awesome.

There's just something about it that has this underlying x factor that I can't explain.

If you don't buy it I'll be very disappointed in you.

Do we have any indication of how many guns Beretta made in this run?

My SN’s are 703 apart. That may or may not mean a damn thing. Erik and Caleb both said was a very limited run.

Haha, went to the LGS to plop money down on it today and the line was about "eff no" people long. Still, I don't think any of those people are interested in a DAO Beretta, so it may yet come over to the fold.

Although I walked right past a curious looking revolver that pegged the interest meter. A 586 with a 3" barrel, shortened grip and compensator. Starting to wonder if I can convince the fiancee just to hit the courthouse with me
