TRUMP: “Sure, I’m prepared to do it, but I would say almost everything I see is from the left-wing not from the right-wing. I’m willing to do anything, I want to see peace…”

    WALLACE: “Then do it, sir.”

    BIDEN: “Do it, say it.”

TRUMP: “What do you want to call them? Give me a name.”

WALLACE: “White supremacists and right-wing militias”

    BIDEN: “Proud Boys”

Trump: “Proud Boys, stand back and stand by. But I’ll tell you what, somebody’s got to do something about Antifa and the left.”
I don't see how you can possibly interpret the "Sure" as a condemnation, when he goes on to say "stand by" and "someone's got to do something". I don't think we're going to convince each other; anyways, that's the sincere view from my 'side'.

It seemed to me that Trump disavowed white supremacy with his first response of “sure.” He did pause, or at least become more deliberate, when Biden kept adding Proud Boys into the mix which is a nationalist organization but not white supremacist (you will find black and other non-white members). I also got the sense that Trump felt that he had effectively answered the original question when he said “sure,” and was asking for clarification when Wallace kept asking for further denunciation yet expanding the groups that needed to be disavowed.

While it should be an easy layup answer, I’d say that Trump went a lot further in disavowing militant hate groups than Biden in that exchange who couldn’t even bring himself to acknowledge the existence of Antifa as an organization.
Although I am sure you are aware of this, what you are replying to is the tactic of redefining a word for the purpose of obtaining a desired interpretation—a tactic typically employed by the Left. In this case, we have a perfect example where the word "sure'' has been redefined from its usual meaning as an answer in the affirmative (in this case, it is a ''yes'' that Mr. Trump would indeed condemn racist/bigoted/violent behavior) to a definition which the person doing the redefining has not—and will not—provide leaving us to argue over something that never occurred.

So, now, we have a new, unknown definition of the word ''sure'' causing you to have to respond to it even though the meaning of ''sure'' was plain to all in its original context....unless of course, one wants to ignore that for their own purposes.

Distract. Deny. Delay. All part of the Left's play-book.

Trump is a lot of things, but they've really made a mountain out of a mole hill on an already oversaturated subject. Even Antifa's getting burnt out. Yeah, yeah. Everybody's racist. The horse is dead.

    Exactly.

People should go to Iztapalapa. It’s another place that shows you how good we have it here. Or drive around rural Quintana Roo.

    I can only imagine Honduras.

My wife cried out of happiness when we went back to Mexico. After a week of being there she was ready to come back to the states. She’s only lived here for a little over a year.

People have no clue how good we have it and they do not understand the threat the left poses.

So you are saying that every counter-protester in Charlottesville was a white supremacist?

Maybe I'm a prude, but it's my opinion that if you find yourself marching alongside neo-nazis and the KKK for whatever reason, you've forfeited the right to be considered a very fine person.

Following this logic, does everyone who marched alongside BLM and Antifa believing that they were attending a "peaceful" protest also forfeit the right to be considered a very fine person?

This "either / or" binary choice b.s. is getting way beyond old.

Hell, there are more genders available than the choices that folks on the left seem to be willing to accord those who may have a difference of opinion from their world view... which they are only too happy to try to impose upon the rest of us.
There's nothing civil about this war.

This ignores the multiple defenses if CSA symbols and even threatening to hold up the budget if CSA names were removed from Army bases. For a Yankee that's queer behavior.

Another member here called Trump a racist. Yet he couldn’t provide one example.

It’s evil what these people are doing. Not every wrong or sin is evil, regardless of which side is guilty . Falsely labeling someone as racist is just as evil as being racist. There is no difference.

Racism is one of the most vile, stupid and destructive things that exist. To cheapen the term racist is one of the most vile, stupid and destructive things you can do.

    It’s sickening and angering.

Do you apply that statement to folks marching along side ANTIFA/BLM looters and murderers?

I’m surprised that folks needed to see if Biden was really loosing it. Do you really care? He picked a close to socialist fluzie as his running mate. His party platform and his by default is pretty much free shit for everyone who cares how much blood we have to squeeze out if the middle class turnips. His and Harris’ stance on guns is known hostility. IMO his NOT being senile and supporting that crap is worse than a senile old bat being lead around by his nose.

As with all elections in my lifetime. It’s coming down to voting against the biggest retard of the bunch.
