“Bad decisions are not made through a lack of skill or innate judgement: they are made because of an inability to handle pressure at the pivotal moment.”
-James Kerr, from his book Legacy
So how was the class?
Some of my friends from my IDPA club took a class from this company in Portage, Wisconsin last weekend.
Most of the shooting was done on steel at 10 yards. They said the instructors were really good at analyzing shooters and detecting errors. Shooters were broken down into three groups based on their experience level, with an instructor assigned to each group. Some if the brand new shooters started off shooting .22 pistols while they developed basic skills.
