    Thanks for this specific tidbit. I need to do something about the gas-pedal-like ambi thumb safety that is on my Baer Monolith, as its outer rear edge bears against the base joint area of my left index finger, when shooting lefty. I may well, first, try re-profiling and cold-bluing the outer edge that wide lever, but if unhappy with the result, would have to replace the whole thumb safety. Or, I may choose to preserve the original Baer thumb safety.
