I'm a huge fan of 1911s in leather rigs. My personal experience is Avenger style holsters SOMETIMES (depend on make) don't conceal as well as a pancake, but that's one guy's experience.

If you're looking for an "heirloom" holster to go with your 1911, JRC or Sparks would be the first places I'd go. If you're looking for a holster that's going to last you a lifetime of hard use, I'd go Kramer horsehide. For a faster, less expensive option, Mitch Rosen's Express line stuff is pretty great - their 5JR is what I'm daily carrying my Commanders in right now.

I recently received a Kramer belt scabbard for my Hi-Power. Lead time was true to the 12 weeks quoted.

Maybe this would be up your alley:

This is a good intersection of custom/quality v. lead time. I have no personal experience with TT, but I'm going to place an order in time for Christmas.

Andrews Custom Leather has their Palmer Practical http://www.andrewsleather.com/traditional.htm

Their lead time is probably longer than you want, but they often have some popular holster models for popular guns in stock.

Milt Sparks also lists other retailers on their order page, and they often show holsters ready to ship on their facebook page.

Lobo Gun Leather also has a list of pre-made holsters https://lobogunleather.com/immediate-sales-and-seconds/

High Noon Holsters is on, I believe, their last week of a summer long 30% off sale, and they offer a quick ship option, for a price ($50).

    Kramer's Horsehide = Nature's Kydex. Great stuff.

I just received 2 holsters from 5Shot; an SME and an IBS. They are absolutely perfect in every respect. I suggest reaching out to John to see if he has any available for immediate shipment.
