I bought one of the hammer shrouds before anyone was with roscoe.
I bought an old cobra drilled and tapped but without a shroud. The shroud arrived without drama. The fit to the frame was good and needed minor adjustments. The screws were a problem but I found them locally and had to make them fit. If I had looked online I may have found screws that fit without reshaping.
The reproduction shrouds are more square in shape as opposed to the more rounded or blended colt shrouds. The shroud only added one ounce of weight. Shooting the old cobra with service stocks and +p ammo drove the rear of the shroud into the web of my hand but non+p and wadcutters are no problem. Different grips, different hand size may not have this issue.
I would rather have a colt hammer shroud but I’m still glad I got the reproduced shroud.
Hope this helps.
