Here’s a time suck: drive the world’s cities app

Pick a city, check out the view through a windshield for a while while a local radio station plays in the background.

    You’re welcome.

It needs a little map in a corner to tell you where you are in the city.

Btw, Dehli is basically a gymkhana event

That’s cool. Nice has some clear blue skies for your drive.
Just a dog chauffeur that used to hold the dumb end of the leash.

There's something incredibly relaxing about watching that.

    Very cool.

It's missing Monaco and a 800 hp car though.

Also didn’t see as many homeless encampments or people shooting up on the streets in the Seattle drive as there really are.

The Seattle track was an interesting little run down memory lane. I lived there for over 30 years, and I saw
    • The building where I lived right after I got out of the Army
    • Five or six places where I worked full-time plus a dozen or more where I freelanced
    • My old dry cleaners, doctor’s office, and dentist’s office
    • Two of Seattle’s better gun shops (Warshall’s and Central Gun Exchange) both now sadly defunct
    • The pawnshop where I snagged a WA Sukalle Mauser in 30-06 for $250 and the pawnshop where Jimi Hendrix bought his first guitar
    • The place where I pointed a 1911 at a man with every intention of shooting him if he kept closing the distance
    • Hundreds of places where I spent thousands of hours/dollars chasing tail before I got married
    • The site of some epic pre-#MeToo ad-business parties
    • The bar where my former father-in-law ascended to the status of Drinking Buddy after I broke up a drunken fight that he started
    • My stepdaughter’s old high school
    • The courthouse where my divorce was finalized
    • The building where my former in-laws still live
    • Many buildings where I shagged one (or more) of the inhabitants when I started dating in my 40s
    • The gym where I set my deadlift PR
    • The building where I lived when I met the current Ms. Okie

I'll probably see someone I know if I watch it again and focus on the passers-by.

Bingo. The viaduct was still standing, so I'd guess it was a couple of years ago. It's gone downhill exponentially since then.

There's a lot of Youtube channels that do something similar; just strap a camera to themselves/a bike/a car and then go around a city with little-to-no commentary. Here's a few I know of.
