That's simply tragic. How much does one family have to endure?

It's heartbreaking. His dad was a long time coach and teacher, they were just one of those families that serve the community.
I mostly remember Brent from middle school and junior high, I never would have guessed he'd grow up to be a Marine and cop. But he pretty much checked off the list of "badass manly stuff to do", including being a hero.

Wow she is a greater writer. If anyone is on the fence, I read a lot and the detail and the way the chapters are divided is incredible.
