I've been having a few problems with my Black Mamba lately so I decided to shoot my Back-Up Mark IV 22/45 at our Steel Challenge Match today.

The gun worked flawlessly except for when the battery died on next to the last stage. I always carry a back-up battery in in a few minutes I was back up and running and could see my dot. I normally use my battery tested the day before a match to make sure something like this doesn't happen but I was too busy yesterday and left out a big part of my planning.

The 22/45 Lite has a Volquartsen Accurizing Kit and boast a 1 pound 7 ounce trigger. It also has a VQ Bolt Carolina Crusher Compensator and C-More Railway sight. I also replaced the Volquartsen Trigger with a Tandemkross Victory trigger. I like the flat face and the feel of the checkering. My times greatly improved compared to the last 2 months and I was happy at the end of the match. Weather was perfect with a high of 100 degrees. I skipped last month because it was over 115.
