I used Blue Star holsters when I had LCR’s.

If he says go leather for an application, that’s the direction I’d look.

The good news is that there are a number of proven designs that have stood up over the decades that are made by numerous outfits.

    Off the top:

Kramer is a bigger outfit, but any of the others should do a straight drop on request if it’s not right there on their site.

There’s plenty of other makers; I’m sure other suggestions will be forthcoming.
I like using MidwayUSA to check for in-stock holsters if I don't want to wait.

They will not be as good as those listed above, but may be a quicker/more affordable way to explore the concept.

For IWB, Hume H715 is surprisingly good value in a leather rig.

I think it’s now called the “hornet,” but the cant and design sure is right for the OP’s criteria.

Two separate holsters. The belt loops are different.

Whether or not they actually offer it for the LCR, I don't know, but the Mitch Rosen Upper Limit is specifically designed for small guns. It is a straight drop, OWB, pancake.

It is available in both Full Detail and Express Lines https://mitchrosen.com

This is and has been a very strong contender, but I was looking for some validation from the experienced here.

    Dragging this old thread up.

Do you all have any recommendations for a LCRx thumb break holster, that covers the hammer and fully covers the trigger?

Here is one I am looking at.

From another thread, could be an option for you.
