I’m thinking this is a model 19. Anyone know? It’s marked .357 and its several decades old.

    Blued, fixed sight, 4”, K frame 357?

It looks like a model 13 to me.

Forgot to add, it’s a round butt not square. Definitely looks like a model 13.

    S&W model number

Model number should be stamped on frame under yolk.

In the desert, looking for water.
No pin on the barrel, so probably a 13-3, round butt, 3” barrel, made in the eighties. Great gun. Had one that I never shot because it was in too good of shape. Got a 15-4 plus some cash for it that suits my needs and collection better, but I’d buy another.

Model 19's have adjustable sights. 13 has fixed sights.
Sorta around sometimes for some of your shitty mod needs.

19’s also have ejector rod shrouds/half lugs.

As stated, that's a Model 13 3" and those 3" round butt K-frames are awesome revolvers, that also command premium prices. That one is clearly a shooter grade gun. Buy it if you can.

Model 13 was FBI field agent carry gun at one time, was it not? Those are sweet.
