It is a six shot not seven shot gun. You're unlikely to get a seven shooter in this frame size. Remember that .327 Mag has a max pressure above what .357 Magnum has.
I knew that had Taurus had made one, figured they had quit. There is one on GB, for double the MSRP. They seem to be made from unobtainium.

Found a pair of the OG rubber combat grips.

I was at my LGS earlier and he had a black defender on the shelf,
it just so happened i had $2500 of gun money in my pocket from
    a couple of 1911's he'd had on consignment...so I took a look at
the Defender and an EDCX9 he had on the shelf, while the Wilson
is certainly a nice gun and not a bad deal at $2300 with extra mags
it's not optic ready so I'll pass, fit and finish on the Defender was
good, the gun was tight where it should be, lock up tight, barrel &
sight straight but the trigger while stage-able sucked, kind of rough
and weighed in at a tick above 12lb's Are the odds good that a spring
kit would get to be smoother 8lb range ? Might be a stretch for a spring swap.
I had made up my mind to take it if it had a decent 10lb trigger thinking
a spring swap and I'd be good to go but he was at $375 with no room to
go to the $350 I put on the table so I left empty handed.
If it's fairly certain that a Galloway kit would get it there, i"d probably
take it, give it a couple hundred round shake out run to check for
warranty goblins and put the kit in.
    Input's much appreciated!

Swapping the mainspring for a Galloway precision spring then dry firing it will go a long way towards cleaning up the trigger to an acceptable range.

While slightly unrelated, I got the chance to dry fire a model 82 at the LGS and it was surprisingly good. Even in comparison to the Smiths and Rugers there.

I'll admit to a fair bit of curiosity...but I swear if the PF flavor of the month winds up being a Taurus revolver, it may sprain my brain.

It would certainly be an incredible reversal! The 407k arrived today for my 856 Toro, I’m just waiting on the holster. One cylinder has a heavier trigger pull than the others, I’m probably not explaining that well, maybe dry fire will help or maybe it will wear unevenly enough to justify sending in for repair. Only time will tell.

Thanks very much for your (obviously) knowledgeable info.
I called the shop, he's ordered another Defender which should
arrive mid week, I've committed to take the one of my choosing.
I'll order a Galloway Kit tomorrow and dry fire and dry fire some more,
I imagine a little polishing would void any warranty.

    Just shoot it.

(I've never felt the need for a spring swap.)

Might be a stretch for a spring swap.

Pricing. My Defender, bought in the middle of the most recent gun and ammo famine (Aug 2021), was $350 then. So, $375 now is not unreasonable. (Usual Internet disclaimers: IMHO&YMMV.)

Taurus is game on. They have stepped up their customer service, accessories are priced right and available. Responsive to market.

They could stand to actually make the UL .22s as I have only seen a few.

Believe me the "more 22s" is a conversation I have in like every production meeting I'm in
