Hammer back, cocked single action. However, I did check at least two cylinders at full lockup, with plenty of wiggle. I was dismayed; I so wanted to be impressed.

    I can pee outside.
The local addiction supplier here has the black 3" model with the Ameriglo sight. The tag I believe was $349.
Fondled it a bit for balance and point-ability, boy those sight jump out at you.
What I did notice was when sighting it, the tritium vial cannot be seen with a flat-even sight picture.

    That’s disconcerting.

I’ll agree that you bury the tritium below the bottom of the rear sight notch. But for point shorting in the dark... it’d be just fine. Similar to the way Kyle Defoor had ameriglo make the tritium version of his Glock sights.

Any issues since you have owned both revolvers?
The draw to this gun is strong.....trying to resist.

    Red face

Only a few hundred through each... no issues so far.

I do have my eyes peeled for a lightweight 3” too. Pair & a spare.

Please keep us posted on the nitty-gritty of these revolvers.

The one at the pusher is 856, 3 inch, black stainless revo.
    It's not the ultra-lite.
Still looks to be a nice small revo.

If I get one of these, it will be the stainless. The black is just black oxide. Not really any way to touch it up. Cold blue will bounce off the stainless that's under it. Whereas the stainless can be brushed and just look like stainless.
