I Went in a Crazy Direction! S&W Model 627 Pro Series

I sold my Model 19-5, and went looking for a smaller revolver. The LGS/range was out of 9mm range ammo, and they had a 627 in the case. I traded an appropriate amount of 9mm, and got an even up exchange. This sucker is BIG, but nothing humongous. It shoots .357 Magnum like they’re .38 Special, and .38’s like they’re .22’s. If I can’t find a holster, check the classifieds...lol!

Seems like a good trade to me. Enjoy it. Are you looking for a leather holster or kydex? I've been looking at .357's for awhile and I missed a S&W 686 3-5-7 a few days ago on a local forum for a good price. I told my wife if I see another one I'm buying it.

I’m trying to find a high ride leather pancake holster. I’ve found a few Galco holsters, but they’re not ready to ship. My son has a 686+, and it looks like a J frame in comparison. 😳

A 627 is on my list. I would order a holster from Milt Sparks

Simply Rugged pancake is pretty high ride. Cool basic old school I think.

I was just on Milt Sparks’ website, and they have a 24 week wait period! I’ll look at the Simply Rugged.

Is it smaller than a breadbox?

Nice gun, doesn't seem crazy to me.

In addition to the holsters mentioned I'd also look at:
    Andrews Leather Saddle Style
    Tucker HF3
    Mernickle PS6

And a Safariland 567 for field/non concealed use.

I'm not so thrilled with the Simply Rugged pancakes, a lot of people are.
