I wouldn't really call MSN a "mainstream news site". It's a news aggregator, so articles of all variety end up there, just the way the algorithms work, there wasn't some kind of editorial decision to post it. As for the article itself, it's your typical low-effort clickbait drivel slideshow; it's not something that MSN wrote, but rather something that MSN reposted from an affiliate-type site called MediaFeed.

That's pretty awful. There just doesn't seem to be any substance there. Almost like it's a dollar a word if it's readable. I've noticed that many so called news sites like Newsweek uses those in abundance.

Those sites will probably become the internet version of the National Enquirer found at the checkout stand. I'm beginning to think AI is writing that.
