Watching a political party convention is a sure sign of masochism.

Don’t blame me. I didn’t vote for that dumb bastard.

Actually, if I'm picking somebody from SC I might want to look more at Trey Gowdy. But I admit I don't know all that much about him overall.
I’ve met him and like him an awful lot. He is a bad ass fed prosecutor, and one appreciates that immediately.

Haven’t seen a single second of either convention but I’m glad some of you enjoyed it. Be sure to post who lost ( besides all of us ?!?).

There have been some really good videos:

Cspan is a good way to watch it.

Honestly, the Republicans have brought some decent speakers to the floor from the ranks of average citizens and it's been fairly enjoyable to listen to some of them. Definitely better than the blaming, doom and gloom the Dems had at theirs. I'm watching it on CSpan on YouTube, so I tend to fast forward through a bunch of it; with the added bonus of no commentary from the peanut gallery media.

There was a lot of speculation DJT would install her as the new VP for the second term. Glad he stood by Pence who has been a solid supporter. I would personally take Noem over Pence if there was a primary in 2024. Gorgeous and smart lady!
