    Glock sight on a Beretta

My biggest complaint of berettas are the front sight. Ive thought a option might be to knock off the frobt sight and fashion a hole to fit a glock front sight.

    Hows that sound?

I imagine a good enough machinist could get it done. Thing is, there’s loads of models out there now with dovetail front sights. That makes me question the need to have a slide machined. The Vertec slides show up for sale on BUSA’s website from time to time.

My old cop gun will eventually have the dead tube replaced by a brass bead, just like my GP100 MC.

I installed a gold bead a couple years ago. Its better than the stock front sight but I still prefer tritium.

Midwest Gun Works has 92FS slides in stock for $257:

It maybe an expensive sort of experiment, but if you have a gunsmith you trust, you could get a Glock front sight and have the smith mill off the Beretta front sight and attempt the hole for the Glock.
Per the PF Code of Conduct, I have a commercial interest in the StreakTM product as sold by Ammo, Inc.

You would need to also drill a big hole in the bottom of the slide to access the bottom of the nut to tighten it. That may compromise the structural integrity.
