Yes, they have their very own press corp, in fact they have sent C&D letters to Andy Ngo for using their feeds, "showing our movement in a negative light".
I'm not suprised at all. I'm not on twitter and haven't looked through that guy's stuff much.

I'm not on the front lines of this, I'm just passing on what I've come across in other places. I believe these guys have pages to spread their ideas... both ideologically and practically. If this stuff isn't spreading to other hotspots yet I think it will. Some of our LEO can probably say better.

I have not read every post in this thread, yet, so may be saying something similar to what others have posted.

I keep TWO hoodies in my truck. One, which has been inside my truck for a long time, is a light-weight “sun” hoody, which is a multi-colored plaid. A 2020 addition is a solid black hoody, and, one of my COVID masks is black. Either hoody allows me to change my appearance. The black one was chosen to help me to blend with a certain type of crowd.

Even though I keep two hoodies inside my truck, I may start the trip wearing a hoody, too, along with a cap. I don’t want to be easy to recognize.

Another thing I try to always do, is wear solid footwear, while driving. One idea is running shoes; I have several pairs. Another idea is boots, that allow one to cover ground, such as duty, hunting, or hiking boots. Flippy-sandals are victim shoes, in my opinion. No matter how toughened one’s feet may be, broken glass is broken glass, if one has to bail out and walk/run.

I saw mention of extended Glock mags. I will add my voice to the chorus of agreement.

My *limited* understanding is that if you're being attacked by a mob/crowd, you're justified in using force against the whole mob/crowd, so you're likely right that they'd have been justified in shooting. Whether that would have turned out any way that could be called "well," I don't want to begin to speculate on.

Noting the way the police respond is also not helpful - though there seems to be no effective way for individual cops to intervene either. The 4 involved are conceal carrying but don't find themselves in a position to really use that effectively.

The left is a Crossbreed that the kydex cracked on so I replaced it w/ diy kydex that is the next thicker version. The one on the right is my recently modified one. It is actually completely diy. It started as a copy of the tan one but in a color that blends in better w/ denim jeans. You can see that the right side leather belt loop has been removed.

This is the back side. You can see the kydex belt loop. Removing some leather and moving the loop let's me slide it about 1.5 inches further forward. BTW the tape is a UHMW tape that stops the leather on leather squeaking.
IMO a better solution for you.

Cheap and if you don’t like it for on body it is a great way to store a pistol in a bag.

Seattle had a driver hit back hard and fast. Some detail at the link along with twatter video from shortly after the shooting. There's multiple camera angles of the full sequence out there if you do a little digging.

Those articles were very much written with the slant that the driver/shooter intended to do harm to the crowds with his car. Anybody know what the truth of the matter is?

Yeah, I thought about that guy a bit while writing that post but ended up deciding I didn't know enough to tell what had happened there. Most of what I heard had the same slant as described but I never figured out how accurate that was or what we were really looking at so I decided not to reference him. Although you can sure see that in this particular case, the crowd melts away from him when he goes on the attack.
This is a thread where I built a boat I designed and which I very occasionally update with accounts of using it, which is really fun as long as I'm not driving over logs and blowing up the outboard.
