    Barrel and Chamber question

I want to get into some clay shooting and figured I'd just get an appropriate barrel for my older Rem Wingmaster. When looking for barrels I see some are marked as 3 inch. My 870 is strictly 2 3/4 chambering. Any issues in using a 3 inch marked barrel with a 2 3/4 chamber? Also, what length would be a good do it all clay barrel?

Edit to note: I will only be shooting 2 3/4 shells

Perfectly fine to use a 3 inch chamber with 2 3/4 shells.

I'm not good at any of the clay games but enjoy them. Longer barrels are the norm around here 28 inches up so that is the way I would go if looking for a single use barrel.

This is the barrel I use on my 870 Wingmaster when shooting at clays:

I bought it years ago, I believe from Cabela's. I'm certain I paid less than the listed price because back then I wouldn't have spent that much, even considering inflation.

Another good source for Remington barrels is Midwest Gun Works, but currently they are sold out, I've bought numerous barrels from them:
