    Air Rifles

Anybody here interested in Air rifles? If you havent looked lately it not the Crossman pump rifle you had as a kid anymore. Its pretty easy to pick up an air rifle that has close to or exceeds .22lr.
Ive got a buddy that builds and modifys them professionally.
Heres a photo of a build out of South Africa that he has done a lot of work on including designing and building a trigger system that is better than any trigger Ive ever fired. No small feat for a bullpup.

So my buddy just did a barrel for a guy. He designs the mandrel for the hammer forge process so these barrels are his spec. He gets the blanks does the machining for that particular gun and cuts the chamber. The he turns the barrel and wraps it in carbon fiber.
This last barrel was specd to shoot .30 cal 65 gn bullets and the owner reported back he is getting 1” groups at 150 meters.
    Hope you enjoy the pics.

I really want one of the .357 caliber air rifles. The PCP style guns put out some impressive performance.

Recently the Benjamin Bulldog. A friend across the pond turned me on to the amount of use they get in the UK and Europe. I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around the idea of dropping $700 plus on a pellet rifle but I'm slowly convincing myself that if I can find a way to cast pellets then it might be a worthwhile, long-term investment.

Heres a Benjamin Maurauder .25 he did. Put an AR stock, pistol grip, custom trigger and custom tunable air valve for efficiency and consistent fps. He routinely kills pest at 100 yards with this.

I have quite a few, including an RWS. My boys and I would shoot them in the backyard a lot when they were younger.

I doubt anybody here wants a customized airgun but if you do he would be a great choice. His military background is pretty impressive too. Plenty of high speed low drag plus mixing it up in several places.
Hes my brother from another mother without a doubt.
