I like how the silhouettes have ears.
We were shown that film in my LE basic academy. Sure brings back some memories. Skinny barrel Mdl 10s, wadcutter ammo, skip shooting the shotgun, point shooting at 7 yards....ahh, the good ol'days!

That film was a bit before my time, but we were shown and trained in all of that stuff on the Academy range. I noticed in one scene the shooter dumped his empties into his hand. That changed after the Newhall incident in 1970.
I went on duty with 6 rds in my revolver and 6 rds in a dump pouch, and felt pretty well armed...
The Virginia state troopers still wear the same uniform as when this was made. Digging the shot gun hip shooting
Odd that they spend so much time on the ricochet examples but still show the officer crowding cover in their examples of how to use it.
