    J frame AIWB kydex

Getting back into the j-frame game once again and seeking a quality holster. There are a metric shit ton of old/older threads on this topic and 3/4 + of the recommended holster manufacturers no longer exist. My criteria in order of importance are:

    1. Kydex
a - Single offset tuckable clip
    b - Minimalist

Google brings up some decent results matching what I'm looking for but I haven't heard of most of them, lead times are long (i.e. Chris Costa and Travis Haley just recommended our gear long) or way more money than I'm willing to pay. I understand demand is likely low for j-frame holsters which keeps stock low.

I have a couple of pocket holsters but I lack the pocket space to accommodate. Happy to hear your recommendations.

Looks like the Apollo would work.

Zulubravokydex. You have to contact him on Instagram but it uses a single DCC clip and has a claw type feature. Dark star gear one is excellent as well but I preferred the zulubravo holster. Name: C69C0618-11ED-4470-B77E-B7EFECAD9D6C.jpg

I don’t typically carry it appendix, but that holster is working very well for me.

I’ve also been very happy with my DSG holster for my 642.

Those are the Piranha grips from Hogue. They are G10 and very grippy. Great shape to them. Downside is that they are heavier then polymer.
