King county in which Seattle resides and the two counties touching it Pierce and Snohomish control everything that happens in Washington. and yes most of the tax revenue comes out of those three counties.

The rest of Washington is like a different world..... Gun owning hunting and fishing.... much more conservative types.

Conservatives have hope but there's not a chance of a Republican taking office.

The honest to goodness best thing we could get is a less progressive Democrat. I'm not sure why she would even consider it but somebody like Chief Best would be perfect. A Democrat with real law enforcement background and female and a POC.

Just not sure if the enlightened Democrat socialist Seattle people could stomach somebody as conservative as say Bill Clinton or Kennedy.

We all have relatives or friends that vote Democrat because that's what they always do. It's going to take a few generations for those people to disappear.

This will be Inslee's 3rd term if he wins. The odds that he can do that don't look real good considering 1) only one WA. governor has previously done that and 2), he played dumb about the Seattle riots. Seems every one in the country knew about it except Inslee. Totally blew the entire thing off.

She was just running for the city council when we moved back south. She's been telling the whole world who she is, what she wants, and what she means to do when she gets it, for at least 14 years now.

Now this in Seattle. The BLM folks aren't going to be happy until the white people give up their homes to blacks. Now that's a new twist. Just move out of your house so someone else can move into it.

My guess is there will be plenty of vacant houses in Seattle soon enough if they can just wait a few months. According to the story here "tens of thousands of people" were marching in the street. If that many people riot you aren't going to want be in Seattle or anywhere close to it. I think that will happen this summer. Temps in the 90's this weekend so it could get interesting.
